The public transportation in Chamonix is extensive, and consists of trains, buses and a free shuttle through which you can reach all the lift stations and other important places in the valley. To stimulate shared transportation in the valley, the towns of Servoz, les Houches, Chamonix and Vallorcine give out a guest card ‘Carte d’hôte’ to tourists, which permits you to use all public transportation for free between Servoz and Vallorcine.
