There are 3 main bus stations in Chamonix: one in Chamonix sud in front of the bowling-alley, one in the centre of town opposite the Majestic Congrès, and one on Place du Mont Blanc opposite the Alpina hotel. There are also bus stops at the Gare du Montenvers and at the Telepherique de l'Aiguille du Midi.
From these bus stations you can catch a bus to la Flégère, les Grands Montets, le Tour (lines 1,2,3 and 4), les Tissourds Hôpital and les Pelerins (line 5), Le Brévent (line 6 and 8), Les Planards (lines 7 and 8), Les Houches (line 9 and 10) and Servoz (line 10). Line 11 takes you around Les Houches.
There is also a night bus in the valley: line 20 to Argentiere (at 22:35 and 0:00 from Place Mont Blanc) and line 21 to Les Houches (at 21:30 and 23:20 from Place Mont Blanc).
