Hotel Chris-tal Overview
The Hotel Chris-tal is situated in Le Houches which is around 6 kilometres from Chamonix itself. Hotel Chris-tal is actually owned by a friendly family who are very attentive without being intrusive. The location provides excellent skiing around the Telepherique Bellevue ski resort however the bus stop by the hotel can take you wherever you wish in the valley.
The hotel only has 18 guest rooms that are all spacious and very clean. The staff all speak excellent English. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool to stretch those tired legs. One of the most popular features of the hotel is the superb restaurant, La Dent du Geant, that serves traditional Savoyard home cooking with regional wines. Alternatively if you want a change of scenery there are several restaurants and bars in Les Houches to explore.
The Hotel Chris-tal provides the perfect alternative for staying out of the hustle and bustle of Chamonix.
